Tryout update - Intrasquad games

Good afternoon U10 parents,

The U10 players have all worked hard through the first two tryout sessions and should be proud of their efforts. For goalie families, a reminder of the goalie evaluations Friday, September 15, 5-6 pm at TD place.

The next step in the tryout process involves intrasquad games. These will take place Saturday morning at McNabb Arena (180 Percy Street). 

The teams (by jersey number and colour), as well as the schedule, appear below. To help us stay organized, please make sure your player knows which team he/she belongs to. 

*denotes goalie. Goalies # 2, #10 and #219 will split time evenly across Teams 2 & 3.

Saturday, September 16, 7-8 am: TEAM 1 vs. TEAM 4

Saturday, September 16, 8-9 am: TEAM 2 vs. TEAM 3

In making the lineups for these games, we have tried to respect the position identified in your original registration. That said, some players may be asked to play part of the game as a different position. As noted in the coach’s letter, the U10A team will be selected based on overall player evaluations. Player positions will not be a significant consideration.

Initial releases will be communicated by email Saturday evening. More information on the next steps in the tryout process (both at the A and B levels) will also be communicated at that time.
