U15 players and parents,

Here is some information for the upcoming U15 tryouts and schedule.

TEAM ASSIGNMENTS
Team assignments will be sent later today in a separate email. Please note that most players will not be playing in every single ice session.

CONTACT CLINIC

SCHEDULE
The schedule for the tryouts was sent in the previous email and included details about the plan for releases.

EXHIBITION GAMES
  • Tentative exhibition game vs Gloucester on Wednesday, August 30, details still to be confirmed
  • Exhibition game vs Gloucester on Thursday at RSP - Potvin (6:15-8:15PM)
  • Exhibition game vs RSL on Saturday in Cardinal (2:30-4PM)
Note: Final Releases after September 2nd exhibition game

ARRIVAL TIME & CHECK-IN
For the first Intrasquad Games, players should arrive at the rink at least 30 minutes in advance of their scheduled game. Upon arrival, players are to check in with me at the registration desk, which should be situated in the hallway leading to the Bob MacQuarrie dressing rooms. Players must bring both their black and white assigned tryout jerseys to each session.
Players will be directed from the registration desk to their assigned room and told what colour jersey to wear for the session.
Players who do not yet have their tryout jerseys (and have advised me of that in advance) will be issued tryout jerseys at their first session.

SCHEDULE / TEAM ASSIGNMENT CHANGES
It is your responsibility to continue to check the schedule daily as it may be updated during tryouts (that said, I will try to keep you all in the loop!). Every effort will be made to maximise the amount and quality of play. Because of last minute arrivals, injuries and departures, the amount of teams and their roster size, some game times/assignments might be subject to change.

RELEASES
All releases will be done over email through Goal Line, unless otherwise noted. The projected release schedule is as noted previously. Released players will be released to Sting U15B or OWGK U15B tryouts, depending on where they live.

REMINDERS
Parents are to stay in the common areas and away from the coaching staff, players, change rooms and the benches unless asked by the coach for assistance.
Please approach me if you have questions
Please also remind your player to bring their water bottle to all tryout sessions.

Note: Should your child suffer an injury or illness, advise me ASAP.

VOLUNTEERS
I am looking for certified level 2 TRAINERS for U15. Please let me know if you can do this.

Thank you in advance and good luck to all players!

Rob May
